Kennedy was a DREAM. I barely saw her eyes the entire time she hung out in the studio and we even got to play dress up a little. She had an amazing head of hair, too! If you need a daily dose of baby CUTENESS. You’re about to be set for like a week. You’re welcome.

Summer Smiles! | Family Photography; Germantown, MD

I met Anna and her parents when she was 6 months old at her first session this past November and I am SO glad this family came back so soon! I always have the best time and my cheeks hurt after our session, but it’s so worth it. Anna can have her serious moments (vogue pose!) but gosh doesn’t she have the best smile? Between picking flowers, blowing bubbles, the perfect weather and that amazing sun hat, this session is just the best summer day, wrapped up and saved forever!

It’s About TIME, Ten Day Old Emilia | Newborn Photography; Germantown, MD

Ms. Emilia Marguerite. So many had been waiting for you. The first grand baby on both sides. Over due by OVER a week and after almost 30 hours in labor. Your world has been so ready to meet you and watch you grow. I can tell you it was an honor being by your Mama’s side welcoming you on your Birth Day. You did an amazing job at your very first (of MANY) emiB session. I hardly saw your eyes until near the end, but boy, are they beautiful eyes.
Folks. This lady here is gonna seriously do some amazing things in this world. Starting with pulling off Mama’s favorite shade of purple and making sure we included a fun nod to Batman and Doctor Who because as we have learned in the short time of knowing Emilia, she is on her own time schedule.

Summer Rainbows | Maternity Photography; Germantown, MD

This sweet duo is new in town and I am so glad they found me! I’ve been living in Germantown pretty much my entire life (minus a few years in baltimore for college and 5 years in the Outer Banks after that) so they pretty much got a tour guide and a photographer in one! LOL. I had such a blast with Becky and Anand during our session! The love they have for each other was just pouring out and it was such a joy for me to capture. Luckily, in the middle of what felt like two weeks of straight rain and clouds, we had a glimpse of sun on our morning to shoot! There is a rainbow of hope after every storm.
