Spring is my FAVORITE season- to be outside, to have sessions, to have a BIRTHDAY (this sunday is mine- hollla!), to celebrate Mother’s Day, EVERYTHING! The only thing is, spring makes me reschedule sessions often. Spring has sprung and the April showers rained this session out for us THREE times before we actually had a sunny day when we scheduled our session! It was SO worth it because we just got to run around watching Alice pick flowers and wave at puppies! Frank and Charlotte were so amazing to hang out with and I even managed to capture a few moments of just the two of them together (which, as a parent myself, I love sneaking into family sessions!) Mom and Dad moments are so few and far between when our kiddos are little. It’s always a treasure to have those captured to remind us of the love that got us here in the first place!

Yessss guys, give me ALL the spring time sunshine and blooms and beautiful families! These guys were so fun! William was SO sweet and for a minute there I thought I was going to capture his first steps on his own because he was cruising around, barely holding on to Mom and Dad! We took a little break near the end for a snack and you’ll never believe what they brought- my absolute FAVORITE cookie- a Kitchen Sink cookie from Panera. William got to enjoy a little bit of cookie while we got some really great shots of just Mom and Dad. I LOVE these moments because at the end of the day, through the ups and downs of this crazy season of having little ones, moms and dads are partners and team mates. They even shared a bit of cookie with me (they are huge cookies!) so- so far they are in first place for Clients of the Year…. LOL! OH and if you’re like me, and your heart totally melts at the sight of group cuddles or babies in glasses- get ready for some totally melted hearts:

Alright, so you probably recognize this beautiful family, because it’s their SIXTH session with me and it was such a special one! We’re adding another little lady to the family and I got to capture that precious time before they go from three to four! The time before my second kiddo came along feels like a life time ago, but I would never trade it for the heart explosions I get from seeing my boys play together (you know, when they get along!) And I can NOT wait to meet this precious little one in a few weeks! Get some warm fuzzies from this spring maternity session:

Ok it has been a month or two since I had a newborn session and I was CRAVING snuggling a little nugget. Aryan was PERFECTION, you guys. He had that awesome newborn smell and was so, so sweet. I will never ever tire of holding sweet tiny babies and talking to their mom and dad about newborn life. It is such a crazy, beautiful time and I’m SO grateful and honored to capture it forever for each of my families I meet. I even got a three generation shot (which I love! Such a treasure!) Ok, enjoy Aryan’s session, but warning- you might explode from the cuteness! You have been warned!! LOL!

I already can’t wait to see you all again for family pictures next year!!

Another little brother cake smash session! I LOVE seeing my cake smash graduates coming back to me, and even BETTER when they bring another cute sibling along for THEIR cake smash!
Austin was an emiB newborn!

And I got to see him again a year later to celebrate the big O-N-E.

It’s always such a joy to catch up with parents and see how two kids is going with them since I’ve gotten another kiddo myself since seeing them last! Sweet Gavin was so serious at the beginning, but we became friends quickly! It may or may not have been the balloons I brought out, but I’d like to think it was just my jokes and silly sounds. 😉 Anyway, this kid was after my heart because his cake smash theme was chocolate chip cookies and we used a TEAL background – and basically, if I were to have a cake smash for myself, that’s exactly what it would look like! LOL Enjoy all the cuteness!!
