How did this year fly by so fast? I am so thankful I had the courage and the support to continue another year in this amazing job. A job that allows me to be creative, explore the worlds most precious moments, make beautiful things and capture memories in a box to open for years and years to come. All while being able to continue my 24-hour job of being a mother to my amazing son. I’m so grateful to all of my beautiful clients. Let’s look back at some of my favorites from the year:

I got to snuggle this beautiful little guy for a few hours. I actually didn’t mean to make his gallery look Christmassy, but between my new teal blanket and the red, it’s a very merry session. Please enjoy the sweet newborn wrinkles, teeny tiny toes, and squishy adorable lips.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with some sweet friends of mine the other day to capture a beautifully expecting belly and an excited big sister, awaiting a little girl due right around Christmas. I adore these gals so much. They make my job so easy! Please enjoy:

I almost didn’t post these because Baby Girl’s name is on the wall in the original, but I love these, so I edited them just for the blog.

Yes that means I know the name, no I can’t tell, and yes it’s perfect. 😉 Christmas light bokeh gives me such a warm fuzzy feeling. These are some of my faves! Rach’s house is so perfectly Christmasy, I could have put her anywhere and it would have been perfect. Playing around with some fun light ideas and this one takes the cake. So much love in this image. <3 I can’t wait to meet this little lady. Can we say Tea Party session in a few years? Eee!

Most of the work I do as a photographer is anything but taking a picture at a session. There’s so much paperwork, number crunching, staring at a computer screen, advertising, keeping up on social media, it can get overwhelming and honestly, sometimes it can get dull.

And then I get back out there with my camera and capture beautiful moments from beautiful families like this one. And I remember why I do this. I fall right back into living for photography, laughing and just enjoying the moments with my clients.
