I can’t resist it in black and white either.
Most of the work I do as a photographer is anything but taking a picture at a session. There’s so much paperwork, number crunching, staring at a computer screen, advertising, keeping up on social media, it can get overwhelming and honestly, sometimes it can get dull.
And then I get back out there with my camera and capture beautiful moments from beautiful families like this one. And I remember why I do this. I fall right back into living for photography, laughing and just enjoying the moments with my clients. This session was so fun and the lighting was so perfectly golden and delicious, it brought me back to the joys of making art! Enjoy some dazzling fall family goodness:

I just loved snuggling this sweet little peach.
I can not tell you the excitement I felt about this session from the first e-mail to posting this blog. This adorable duo was my first ever TWIN session! Not only did I get to enjoy shooting a beautiful portrait session, but I also got to watch them demolish a few smash cakes! Try not to explode from all of the cute.
No wonder these littles are so beautiful! Look at their parents!

Costume change! Their birthday theme was Red and Blue, so they came prepared with the perfect accessories.
I love getting a “before” shot of the cake, and let me tell you, I almost didn’t make this one in time!
Aiden was a quick smasher and he finished up while Emilia was dipping one dainty finger in the icing at a time (at first)..jpg)
And then we put BOTH cakes in front of her. I love this shot. “I can have BOTH?”
The blue icing on her shoulder. The tutu. So much to love about the little details.
Double smash accomplished.
This session was so fun! We had a beautiful location and a big happy family with lots of smiles! The balloons were a perfect summer touch to add some extra fun and color into the session.
