This session. Was SO fun and so amazing. DeChanta had a vision of fields of flowers and lots of feeling fabulous. I made sure she got exactly what she was looking for. Brookside Gardens was the perfect setting! Not only was it brilliantly filled with a million gorgeous flowers, but we went so early in the day that we were pretty much the only ones there! So we played some Beyonce and laughed and had a great time finding gems in the garden. I am so happy I could capture DeChanta in her true beauty.

Like. Breathtaking. Seriously. Glorious.

I love customizing sessions towards something special! Riley’s birthday party is a pool party, so we had to add a fun in the sun vibe to her portrait session. AND Riley is turning TWO on May SECOND so it will be her golden birthday! I absolutely had to take advantage of that. Riley was so much fun. We talked about Ariel and tried on each others sunglasses. She had a sweet smile, but her eyes did all the talking during this session!

I just love watching families grow. And I got to see Sarah and Matt go from a family of two, to becoming parents! It really looks really great on them, I must say. And Mr. James is the sweetest! I hardly saw his eyes the whole time we hung out.

This beautiful little guy is the youngest of FIVE children. I was so impressed by so many things about this family. Everyone was so sweet and organized, it was like heaven to shoot! Plus, Jaxon was such a happy birthday boy! It was such a pleasure having them and I hope I get to watch this family grow throughout the years!

Five gorgeous kiddos in amazingly coordinated outfits. What a dream!

And then it was Jaxon’s time to shine!

Most of my sessions lately have been in my comfortable in-home studio (since it’s been winter and cold and soggy outside). But since spring has (FINALLY) sprung, I am scheduling more and more outdoor sessions! I got to go on a little adventure into our fair country’s beautiful capital for this amazing maternity session. What a better place to capture these special memories for a couple of Coast Guards expecting their first beautiful bundle! It was a little windy and Sarah has gorgeous short hair, so we had to collaborate with Mother Nature and be a little creative. The lighting, the scenery, the couple, everything was so beautiful, it was such a dream to shoot! Enjoy!
