Here Comes Baby Bryson | Maternity Photography; Frederick, MD

You may remember Sarah and Matt from this fun summer session last year?6

Well not too long after, I got an e-mail inquiring about a newborn session in the spring! Not only do I LOVE how far in advance she got in my books, but I have known Sarah since elementary school and I’m so happy for her to join in the ranks of Motherhood. So after rescheduling this session a ton of times for a ton of reasons, including a rather large snow storm, we finally got together to get some shots of that gorgeous belly! They brought along their sweet pup (and soon to be big sis) Maddie! This session is the perfect mixture of cozy winter-meets the glowing warmth of spring. Enjoy!

Katia and Javier wait for Sofia!|Maternity Photography, Germantown, MD

I am really loving the simplicity of shooting maternity sessions in my studio. These two were so adorable. And while your scrolling through these beauties, just know that Katia is wearing regular jeans. You know, the kind that zip and button. And she’s due in a few weeks. You go girl.1

You stare at those sonograms because it still doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t register totally that there’s a new little person in there. And years from now you’ll look back and remember that there actually was a time before you didn’t know that little persons every single detail.blog18blog29 blog3 11

Sofia was kicking her Daddy’s hand when I captured this moment. <313 Can you tell which schools they’re rooting for Sofia to attend? LOL. They’re rooting for their own!14 15It was so lovely meeting you two!

Mini Delilah | Cake Smash Photography; Germantown, MD

I spent my Valentine’s morning with this blue eyed bombshell. She has that dramatic stare down, but she also has a very infectious laugh. I was really excited about her cake smash theme: Minnie Mouse! I love to add something special to make every cake smash something to remember, so I spent an afternoon making a Minnie Mouse banner, bows to decorate Delilah’s smash set up and designed a custom cake to match! I think she loved it because she ate almost all of it (and then smashed the rest!) 😉 2blog1 5blog29We kind of had a fashion show with all of my bows (like my own Minnie Bowtique!) I love to have options for my little clients to choose from. <3 It’s always fun to dress up!

Annie & Mike! | Engagement Photography, Gaithersburg, MD

This was such a fun session! It’s so hard to find fun locations with color in January, but man did we find the most perfect spot. This is the most diverse gallery and we only just hopped around a few different spots within the same area. It was lovely. This session almost looks like it was shot in Alaska. Minus all of the snow.
