I love those sessions where you just let the little ones run around and you can catch their personalities when they think you aren’t looking. I also brought out the bubble gun for some added summer fun!

This beautiful couple was such a blast! I feel like the stars aligned with this session. They were referred to me from a regular client of mine and we hit it off right away (I was given permission to check out their facebook pages and fell in love with their story. I even got some sneak peeks at their little boy’s beautiful nursery in progress- which is stunning.)
It rained up until the moment I arrived at our location and then the sun came out in its gorgeous golden fashion. There was some lightning in the distance, but it held off! I’m telling you guys, Sam and Jess are a beautiful couple inside and out. Beautiful people, a beautiful location, beautiful light. This session was seriously such a dream to shoot. Enjoy:

Everyone remember my fun trip to DC for this beautiful Coast Guard couple’s maternity session?
Well they had a beautiful little lady named Juliette and I had the honor of snuggling her for her newborn session! She was so tiny but so fierce. She decided to pose herself a little and her legs loved to stretch straight out! I love that right from the start we have tiny personalities that shine through. PLUS her amazing parents brought their Coast Guard hats… and I put her in one, which I adored.

This session. Was SO fun and so amazing. DeChanta had a vision of fields of flowers and lots of feeling fabulous. I made sure she got exactly what she was looking for. Brookside Gardens was the perfect setting! Not only was it brilliantly filled with a million gorgeous flowers, but we went so early in the day that we were pretty much the only ones there! So we played some Beyonce and laughed and had a great time finding gems in the garden. I am so happy I could capture DeChanta in her true beauty.

I love customizing sessions towards something special! Riley’s birthday party is a pool party, so we had to add a fun in the sun vibe to her portrait session. AND Riley is turning TWO on May SECOND so it will be her golden birthday! I absolutely had to take advantage of that. Riley was so much fun. We talked about Ariel and tried on each others sunglasses. She had a sweet smile, but her eyes did all the talking during this session!
