Sweet Kennedy! I met your parents when you were still in your mama’s belly. They had just moved to Germantown and you were their rainbow baby. We walked around one of my favorite lakes while the spring flowers bloomed. I got to meet you when you were only 16 DAYS new. You were sleepy and squishy and perfect. Almost a whole year has gone by- you’ve grown so much! You learned how to crawl and are starting to walk, you are snacking on foods and starting to say words. How amazing is that first year? I couldn’t be happier to celebrate such an important birthday with you in such a fun way! Thank you for coming to hang out and sharing a slice of your beautiful cake with me!

I say this a lot, but I LOVE when I get to see my clients again and again! I’ve known Candice since high school so it was wonderful to capture her pregnancy and that precious time when Charlie was a couple weeks new. It’s an even bigger joy to see how BIG Charlie has gotten over the past year. She was so amazing. I was playing and chatting with her and I was like ‘oh, we should probably head into the studio and take some pictures!’ haha! I could hang out with this family all day.

I was so excited to meet this sweet little nugget! Since I’ve seen her big sister every 6 months since she was 6 months old and now she’s THREE! Lucy was just as amazing as the rest of her family. She spent most of our session together sleepy and smiley and I already can’t wait to have this family back again! Get ready for some baby fever coming your way!

Mia- I screamed and hugged your mama when she told me the news. I watched her belly grow and I thought for SURE you were a boy the whole time. I held your mama’s hand and made her laugh when she was in the hospital where I stayed up for almost 24 hours waiting for you to arrive. I saw your adorable little face when it was moments new- a gift that few people get the honor to witness. I watched you grow from that squishy, fresh baby, to a brave and adventurous person learning new things every day. I got to spend Mother’s Day with one of my favorite Mom’s (probably one of yours too!) and we got to watch you celebrate being a WILD O-N-E! It was so fun and you definitely would have sat there and happily finished the whole cake if we let you. A girl after my own heart. I’m so glad we captured this precious first year for you and I can’t wait to capture so many more!
