That first year really flies by! I first met Leona when she was itty bitty and now she’s this walking kiddo ready to take on the world! It was a crisp, fall evening with a perfect sunset and I’m so glad we got to spend it together! Look how big she’s gotten since last year!

I love finding new locations and chasing the sunlight wherever it goes. This was such a beautiful park on a perfect evening. I’m so glad I could capture this quiet, precious time before their little boy arrives and changes everything (hopefully you still get some quiet moments!) It was so lovely hanging out and I’m SO glad her mom popped in for a few at the end because this is a special time for grandmas too!!

Nicole had such an amazing idea since we took some maternity pictures a couple of weeks before Cullen arrived, we should do a session now that he’s nine months old! She really just wanted one picture to recreate a shot from her maternity session:

but I have trouble narrowing down favorites… as my clients can tell you! I love the bright and detailed sessions too, but this short little session was so sweet and simple, I’m in love with the images we got!

I can’t tell you how much I love this family. I’ve watched Char grow from Lulu’s size into that super star you see today and I’m SO thankful that I can share another beautiful session with you all. These fall colors are really getting me, plus those sweet blue eyes and yellow flowers!? Shout out to Nick and Jess for being the absolute cutest- especially in the photos of just the two of them. After two kids (speaking from personal experience here!) days just go by so fast and sometimes its nice to stand there with the love of your life and laugh and cherish each other for a few seconds while one of your kids is eating skittles in a stroller and another one is sitting in a box 2 feet away. LOL. Love you guys forever!
