This gorgeous family not only waited for winter to be over so we could schedule our spring family session, but we got rained out and had to reschedule TWICE! I kept emailing like “I can’t wait to FINALLY meet you guys!” But we ended up getting the most PERFECT day for our session on the third reschedule. Not only was the sun actually out and the park was so amazing (a slice of heaven in the middle of downtown Baltimore,) but this family was the sweetest, most beautiful family. I love all of the bold colors and all of the sweet smiles! I’m SO happy their friend Emily (great name, by the way!) hooked us up together because I’m honored to be a part of their story and hopefully continue capturing their lives as those adorable kids grow!

I hung out with one of my favorite families this past weekend at such an amazing location in Virginia. Even more beautiful, are these growing girls, Char and Lucy who I giggle with every time we get together. I love watching their personalities and silliness come out with every new session. This springtime garden session promises lots of pretty flowers AND a special watermelon smash in honor of Lucy’s birthday (which ended up being more of a watermelon taste-and-spit-out, BUT it was adorable either way!) I always love shooting at sunset because that perfect golden glow at the horizon gives off the sweetest light. In the summer, the sunset can get pretty late, usually past little ones’ bed times. So I usually recommend families with younger kids and babies have their sessions in the spring or fall for cheerful smiles! This cutie turned ONE on Tuesday (yay!!) so we celebrated with a family session!! Check it out!
