This session was one of my most special, yet. One of my best friends had another beautiful baby girl and I had the absolute joy of not only being there before she was born, but shortly after! Amber’s amazing family was hanging out and got to check out how things work behind the scenes. I snuck Amber’s mom, G into some shots and was treated to one of my FAVORITE Outer Banks exclusive treats- John’s (the best dolphin [fish] boat and fries I’ve ever had!) after the session was over! It was such a beautiful and happy day snuggling baby Brynn.

OK SO. I knew if I ever wanted to have a newborn on the beach, this was pretty much my only shot. On top of our regular session, and after hanging out together that night, we decided to wake up at the crack of dawn (before, even!) and make a little magic with the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean. A true honor and dream come true for me, yielding some shots I’m SUPER proud of.
