Ok first of all, any of my tiny clients that say “hi emi!!” right off the bat, win. Sean was chatting with me before our session about bugs and we hunted for acorns together. This was my third session with this amazing family, but our first outside the studio! So that was a ton of fun. We were rained out of our original Sunday session, but yesterday was SO perfectly sunny and amazing. I already can’t wait for our next session!

Little miss Isla came to hang out with me today along with her awesome parents and we had a great time (it probably had something to do with the fact that mom is a fellow photog and friend of mine!) She loved being snuggled and those cheeks have my heart!

I love celebrating the big O-N-E with new clients! What a better way to break the ice than to party together? Stella was on the move during much of her session, but I knew she might sit still once that cake came out. According to mom, she loves to make a mess, but during our ‘smash’ she was being so dainty and just eating the cake one finger dip at a time. Maybe she was going along with the sweet tea party theme! Either way, I’m SO happy to meet her and capture this super special milestone. I hope to see her again soon!
