Sweet little Logan is here!! After photographing his big sis, oh and being best friends with his mama for over 14 years… it was such a delight to snuggle this sweet potato. Boy was he so smiley and sleepy!! Exactly what a photographer and a friend of his mama would want in a little guy. Brinley did an absolutely PERFECT job the entire time, from choosing her headband and always giving the best smiles and snuggles. My only wish is that Hailey would have been home for these, but there’s always our next session because this is only Logan’s FIRST!!

Jonny is getting so big!! He was first here when he was 6 months old, came back for his cake smash, and now is back again as sweet as ever!! It’s always such a good time when these guys come to the studio. Grandma came this time and it was such a blast.

I absolutely love this tradition I have with this family. Almost every year since Wyatt was born, we have met on the first weekend of November for family photos at this park! It’s usually the day of daylight savings, and the leaves are at their most fall. It’s also extra special because it’s also Meg and Bryan’s anniversary weekend! This year we climbed trees, we threw leaves and saw a sweet duck couple swimming down the creek. This was such a perfect and fun day, I’m so glad they have SO many beautiful images to keep!

I was SO so happy to hear from Tessa and her family again recently! They have been in the studio a few times, one of them celebrating Graham’s first birthday with a cake smash two years ago. Now he has a little brother and Nate came by to have his own birthday session! We were really feeling autumnal for the theme and I am obsessed with how it came together. They even brought donuts instead of a cake, which I LOVED. It’s always such a fun time to do something a little different. Even though the donuts were very delish, I think Nate’s favorite part was the bath at the end. You can probably tell by many many splashes I captured and the enormous puddle around the tub by the end. There are so many precious memories and magical moments I got to capture for his birthday, so please enjoy as many as you can here:

Another fun filled session with James and Aubree! Man these kids are getting so big so fast. I’m so glad Sarah and Matt have so many years of memories to look back on as they get older. Baker Park is one of our favorite spots and boy was it showing off on Sunday. Between the leaves and the sunset and the absolutely perfect weather – it made throwing around leaves and being a couple of silly gooses that much more fun! This might have been one of my favorite sessions ever. Where they’re right in that sweet spot of not being afraid to be silly and try goofy things (and listen when I tweak a pose a little bit) but they ALSO were perfect at giving me great smiles when it was time to look back at the camera. You can tell how great everyone did by how many images they get to take home after a thirty minute session (with the black and white edits, its over 250 images!!)
