This session was so special to me because I was lucky enough to photograph Jessenia’s older brothers Anthony and Joseph’s cake smashes when THEY were ONE! Jessenia is just as sweet and cute as they were at that age and I love watching families grow over the years. This sunflower theme is the perfect vibe for summer and I am obsessed with the set up mom and I came up with together. Birthday Girl didn’t want too much to do with the cake, but it was all still so beautiful and fun. Both big brothers hugged me on their way out and my heart burst.

The cake mostly survived, but it went home with them, so I’m sure the big brothers took care of it later that day! LOL!

Man, it feels like yesterday I met Cora to celebrate her first birthday! and now she is FIVE and expecting a little sister later this summer! We rescheduled this session after a rainy Sunday, but as we arrived to our location on Monday, it was looking a bit stormy in the distance. We worked fast and had a lot of fun before the clouds emptied and we had to end a little early. You’d never know, though! We got a lot of amazing moments and even up to our last few shots, everything was perfect! I can’t wait to meet number two in a couple short months!

We added a few more family members to the group this time and got everyone in on the action! The garden was humming with cicadas, but the kiddos ran around and twirled and summersalted in the grass. It was great to have the whole family together!

The last time I saw this beautiful family, little bro Micha was a fresh little squish! Mom wanted me to capture some moments of the boys climbing their favorite tree before they sold their house this summer! What a fun way to remember their time at their first home. We also found the sunset and had a blast running around in the park!
