I was so excited to meet Hannah after having such a fun session with her fam while she was still baking. She was such a sweet little snuggler and her big bro was such a big helper! Guess what I learned about them: they are 4 years, 4 months and 4 days apart!! How incredible is that?! We spent a chilly, rainy day in the cozy studio and captured some absolutely adorable and beautiful moments for these four. I can’t wait to watch little Hannah grow!
I had the absolute best time hanging out with Aurora and her mama in the studio! We ran around and changed outfits and played with balloons, everything a girl could want on her actual birthday! The theme was autumn florals and dusty rose, which made my October loving heart sing. The color pallet was definitely one of my favorites. The funny part was, Aurora was not as interested in her cake as she was basically anything else. LOL! She had a great time with the cheerios and she tried to snack on the bubbles from her bath. No matter what was happening, that gorgeous girl was making some super fun memories snuggling and laughing with her mama and I’m so glad we captured these for them.
I was absolutely honored to capture Andi and Jack’s beautiful day on what I believe was the most perfect September day we’ve had all month. Getting ready in a nearby B&B with the bride squad was a blast. Everyone snuggled their sweet pup Poppy, had drinks, laughs, Jack’s sister Lucy did a bridal tarot reading, and while Andi was getting her makeup done, a white moth let us take a few absolutely magical photos! What could be a more beautiful sign? I’d like to think it was a little visit from Andi’s mom. Andi’s sister Ashley buttoned up her gown, with help from Kelsey and Jesse for final touches. After a beautiful first look with dad and some stunning bridal portraits, we made our way over to the farm where Jack was getting ready! With his boutonniere placed by his mom, his best man, Tommy, fixing his tie, and a few Poppy kisses, he was ready to go. A heartfelt handfasting and first kiss, they were wed! Those first few post-ceremony moments with Andi and Jack alone make my heart melt. They exchanged rings out in the glorious sunshine and the happy couple was flooded with hugs and love from family and friends during cocktail hour. (The sea foam margaritas were excellent!) The fun began with a first dance that turned into a super cute family dance with parents and everyone else joined in after, especially Mia and Remy, the flower kiddos! The food trucks were so yummy, but we had to sneak out during the glowy sunset to grab a few more bride and groom portraits! As the sun set, we made our way back to the barn. The cake was cut, the speeches were touching and hilarious, and the dancing went on into the night! It was such a beautiful and fun day! I’m so glad we have all of these memories to look back on them forever. I couldn’t include every moment from the album in this post, but here are some of my favorites.
I’ve known these gorgeous humans for quite a long time now! Our first session was SO special– within the un-built walls of their house back when Ava was so small! This time around, the September weather was absolute perfection. It must have known that everyone was going to be stunning! Between those red bottoms, the golden sun, and the dazzling smiles, this was a 10/10 session! I hope you love these images as much as I do!!
I always adore meeting and becoming friends with new clients and these guys were SO much fun. It was an absolutely perfect evening in the garden as the sun set. I already know Caleb is going to be a great big brother because he was so helpful and fun during our session together. Nothing beats that golden glow and a happy family! I can’t wait to meet their little lady soon.
