Four Forslunds! | Fall Family Photography; Germantown, MD

I’ve had some gorgeous moments with Hilary and Ryan over the years waiting for Faye and Finn to arrive, and even a fun little holiday session in there. This time around, I met Finn and captured these four all together and boy did we have fun! It was a perfect fall day, just cool enough that we could run around in our cute sweaters and not be hot (the perfect weather.) Faye was an absolute dream and showed me how great of a big sis she is. Finn showed off his amazing eyebrow work and his gorgeous smile! I can’t pick a favorite, but here are all the warm fuzzies from Sunday!!

Hannah’s Rosey Golden Fall Smash | Cake Smash Photography; Frederick, MD

Fastest year ever! I feel like I was just meeting this gorgeous fam yesterday when Hannah was still in her mama’s belly! And she was just a sweet sleepy potato when I met her during our newborn session. And now it’s her FIRST BIRTHDAY! Man, did we have such an amazing time. Hannah is the sweetest, smiliest, silliest birthday girl ever. We played with balloons and peek-a-boo with her dress layers. Big bro Caleb even snuck in at the end to test out the cake for himself. I absolutely love the face first into the cake energy she had going on and her mama having cake on her cheek as she gave Hannah a bath when she was all done.

Glowing Fall Sunset | Maternity Photography; Frederick, MD

What an absolute PERFECT fall day this was. At least this was the first day that it actually felt like fall. The humidity was no where to be found and there was a nice cool breeze. The sunset was absolutely golden, but that glow was nothing compared to how stunning and full of love this family was the entire time! Felix was so much fun. He was so sweet to share his rocks and leaves with me while we went on little adventures and found new pretty spots of light to jump around in! Every time I think I have a favorite shot, I see the next one and the next one!

On My Way To Where The Air Is Sweet | Cake Smash Photography; Frederick, MD

I met Henry while he was still in his beautiful mama’s belly, I snuggled him when he was just a few days old, and now he’s ONE! What a fast year it’s been! We had such a blast together in the studio. For someone who doesn’t walk quite yet, he sure can get around at the speed of light. He has mastered speed crawling and getting off of chairs and beds like a professional! He didn’t love the sweetness of the cake, but he did a great job smashing it and that’s really where the fun is (along with really splashing in the tub after the smash to get clean again!) It’s always such a gift to watch my tiny clients grow and change over time and capture it forever to look back on.

Sunflower Sweetness | Sunflower Field Family Photography; Rocky Point Creamery – Tuscarora, MD

The last time I saw Jane, she was still waiting for her little brother and now he’s here! I don’t think I even saw what color his eyes were while we danced around in the sunflowers the other night. He was such a sweet, sleepy peach the entire time! Jane and I twirled and jumped and I think she’s holding the biggest sunflower I’ve ever seen. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and seeing this sweet family all together as a family of four makes my heart explode! I already can’t wait to see them again for the holiday season!
