What an absolute treat it is to have the whole family together! And I do mean the WHOLE family. Not only are some of these folks my dear friends, but I’ve hung out with, or had family sessions with almost all of these guys at different times. It was so much fun to watch all the kiddos running around together and see the cousins laughing and catching up. It was a whirlwind of smiles amid the lovely orangey sunset (what happened to be the parting gift of the Canadian wildfire we felt the effects of earlier this week.) We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening for this big beautiful gathering!

Oh my gosh you guys! Fastest year ever. Last time Violet was here, she was just a sleepy potato and now she’s walking around, investigating everything, and working on saying big words like Balloon! We had so much fun in the studio the other day. I’ve seen a lot of different reactions to first birthday cakes, but eating it with a fork was a first! I love how there were three colors in her cake, but she ended up mostly purple in the end. I couldn’t help but catch a sweet post-bath mama snuggle to wrap up the session. I always love when these three hang out and I feel so happy looking through these, so please enjoy Violet’s cake smash session!

My sweet little cousin, who was the flower girl at my wedding when she was THREE is graduating this year!! I can’t believe how fast time is flying (because I haven’t aged a day! LOL) but I know Maya is off to do some amazing things and make the world as gorgeous as she is!!

Another beautiful session with these incredible humans. We got to play around with a bunch of flowers because it’s springtime, and we tested out my latest lifestyle corner update! Every time these cuties are in front of my lens, I can’t believe how much bigger they were than the last. Time is a thief. Luckily I can cheat it with these memories bottled up for us to keep forever!

Jane was not even a year old the first time she came into the studio! We had a huge blast at her first birthday session, which was gorgeously spring themed, even though it was SNOWING outside. And now she’s celebrating her big SECOND birthday!! We played around with pretty flowers and jumped around on the studio bed with her big 2 balloon. We made sure to capture some special moments of just Mama who is growing a little brother to add to the family! What a fun filled session we had! I cant’t wait to meet the latest addition and capture Jane as a big sis later this year!
